Why is there a license fee for MAGICapp and are there non-profit discounts

MAGIC and the MAGICapp was not established to make money, but to help users, authors and publishers of guidelines and evidence summaries. We are a registered non-profit in Norway, and all the money we make from selling MAGICapp licences goes straight back into the product.

We would ideally make MAGICapp free for everyone, as that would help us achieve our vision, but we need to sell licences to fund the development and maintenance of the software and provide support. 

We don't have a specific discount for non-profits, but we do always try to make pricing affordable for customers with limited resources. We think it is fair that larger, wealthier and/or for-profit organizations contribute more than those with limited funds and our model reflects this. If your organization has limited funding but still wants to use MAGICapp, send us an email and we can look at the options.
