Version control - change current version, link to multiple versions

Admins can choose which version of the guideline to set as the most current published version.

Note that the permanent link will link users to the most current version (which may or may not be the most recently updated version).

When you publish a guideline, the default will be "Set Current."

In the versions list, there will be a "Most current version" tag, and that version will be highlighted blue. You can change which version number you want as the most current version using the drop down menu. You can also set a version as current using its "Edit" button.

Using the Edit option, the publishing menu will allow you to select "Set Current" by checking the check box, then selecting "Update."

Linking to multiple guideline versions, e.g. current version and consultation version

With this new functionality, admins can link users to public (or internal) consultation versions of the guideline, in addition to the current version.

In the example of the "Publishing, version history and subscriptions" dialog below, admins have published a guideline previously (version 4.0) and are working on an update that they want external review feedback on (version 4.5). The MAGICapp home page of published guidelines will feature version 4.0, and the permalink will take users to version 4.0. However, admins can also share a link to version 4.5 (hyperlink to any version is under "View"). In this case the consultation guideline version 4.5 is publicly accessible ("Public" checkbox is selected), but you can also make this version restricted to those that have permissions to the guideline.

Please note, when users try to access a link to a non-current version, they will first be asked if they want to be re-directed to the current version (which is the intended purpose of the permalink) - you need to advise them to select "No" in order to access the non-current version for review.

Below is an example of what users see if they access a non-current version of a guideline, for example version 4.5. Admins can add elements to make it clear to users that this is the consultation version of the guideline, such as choosing the "External review" label under Settings -> General (visible to the right of the version number and publishing date), and having a box of information/instructions at the beginning of the guideline to guide readers.

When users access version history, the current version will be clearly highlighted, and all other public versions can be accessed as usual.
