The MAGIC authoring and publication platform for living evidence

Most importantly we need you to understand that:

- Everything you do, post, write and publish on our platform is your own sole responsibility.
- You should always use your own sound medical, professional and personal judgement when using the content in practice. Guidelines and other pieces of evidence are only written information and guidance. Standards and practices in medicine, however, change and new data constantly becomes available.
- Your data is not stored or used commercially.

MAGICapp is both an authoring and publication platform. Viewers can read, Authors and Organizations can create and publish content. Below are our rules and regulations for use, commonly known as Terms of Use.

A short summary:

Everything you do, post, write and publish on our platform is your own sole responsibility. The MAGIC organization is not responsible for any of the content added to the MAGICapp.

You should always use your own sound medical, professional and personal judgement when using the content in practice. As a reader of content you need to remember that guidelines and other pieces of evidence are only written information and guidance, and although we and the authors of the content strive to make both the content correct and the service error free you should always use your own sound medical, professional and personal judgement when using the content in practice. The content is no substitute for individual patient assessment based upon a healthcare provider's examination of each patient and consideration of available facts and other factors unique to the patient. Remember that standards and practices in medicine change and new data constantly becomes available. You should consult a variety of sources and when prescription of medications is involved, the user is advised to check the product information sheet accompanying each drug to verify conditions of use and identify any changes in dosage schedule or contraindications.

Your data is not stored or used commercially. The only personal data MAGICapp stores is your email (login) and display name and we don't use any cookies. We do use GA to track usage to help with improvements to the app. GA uses random IDs so they do not get any personal data from us. We don't, and would never, sell personal data to anybody. The email address we collect are used for logins and so the app can send emails.
